Lucille is a graphic designer, who also has a passion for illustration. She combines typography, and illustration to create fun and dynamic designs. Lucille is from Middle Bass Island, Ohio, a small island in northern Ohio (near Cedar Point). She graduated from high school in 2021 and from Kent State University in 2025 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design with a minor in User Experience Design. Lucille chose to go to Kent State University her junior year of high school because she found that she enjoyed working with Photoshop and Illustrator in her multimedia class, and her art teacher inspired her to look into Kent State.
Lucille has worked as a graphic designer for the Division of Student Affairs Signum Multimedia (now Marketing and Communications) since the spring of her freshman year. At Signum she learned how to be a graphic designer and create deliverables for many clients across Kent’s campus. She was also the president of the Flash Activities Board, which she joined in the Fall of her sophomore year as event staff. As president, she ran a team of seven directors, three event staff, and many volunteers, as well as planned major on-campus events such as the annual Black Squirrel Festival and Fall Fest. Lucille was on the Dean’s List Falls of 2021, 2023, and 2024, and Spring of 2022, and the President’s List Fall of 2022, and Springs of 2023 and 2024. She also earned the American Greetings Endowed Scholarship for design, two years in a row. Lucille loves to bake, specifically cookies, and learn new things whether it is new recipes, crafts, or fun trivia facts.
